Have you wanted to start Yoga but felt unsure if yoga was for you, or if you can 'do' Yoga?
A common concern I hear from people is whether they will be able to do Yoga.
An advanced posture requiring strength, balance & flexibility is only one expression of the practice of yoga. Yoga is as simple or as complex as you want to make it.
Be assured. Everybody can do Yoga.
As with anything, the first step is the hardest.
Join me for this 6 week course where you will be introduced to the fundamentals of any Yoga practice : breath work, (pranayama), physical postures (asana), withdrawal of senses/meditation (pratyhara/dhyana), mantra (sound) and relaxation (savasana).
Upon completion you will feel confident to start your Yoga journey.
The course is designed for total beginners, continuing beginners, those returning to yoga after some time and those wanting to practice at beginner level.
What to Expect
We'll start each class with some gentle breath awareness & a short guided meditation. After some stretching & warming up exercises we'll take a look at some of the classic asana (poses) you will encounter in the average yoga class. We'll take a look at mantra and then finish with a long deep relaxation.
