We Are Goddess
a Kundalini Yoga Workshop
to invoke the Goddess
on the day of
the Celtic Triple Goddess
of healing & poetry.
In Celtic legend, Brigid is known as the triple goddess, as she embodies maiden, mother and crone. At Imbolc, she is in her maiden phase and her domain is healing and poetry.
The Goddess archetype is global, in the east we have Kali, Saraswati, Durga and many more, in Ireland, we have Brigid our much loved matron saint.
On this day of Brigid, Imbolc, you are invited to connect with the Goddess Brigid and ask for her healing in any matter. We will do this through the practice of Yoga.
Yogi Bhajan shared a number of very powerful teachings on the role the divine feminine energy has in creating a sustainable, harmonious future on this planet.
He gave us specific mantras (sound currents) and powerful meditations to ignite the energy of the divine feminine, the great mother or 'adi shakti' as it is called in Kundalini Yoga, to bring the masculine and feminine energies back into balance.
On an elemental level, Brigid is the perfect balance of fire and water, representing the balance of masculine and feminine energies.
February 2nd this year is Imbolc, an important point on the Celtic calender, the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, and an energetic portal where traditionally in Ireland we asked Brigid for protection (the cross) for the year ahead and for healing for ourselves and our loved ones.
Join me to honour Brigid on this day, to ask for protection, to ask for healing and to ignite the Adi Shakti Goddess energy in you.
We will finish with a 20 minute Gong Bath.
Suitable for Total Beginners & Experienced Yogis.
'It was really something special for me & my friend to attend ‘Half Mast’ at your studio on November 10th.
You are a wonderful teacher and “Half Mast” was indeed a powerful introduction for us to the practice of Kundalini yoga. We both felt challenged by the practice yet gently held & encouraged by you throughout.
I wanted to let you know that Ieft feeling I had touched on something deeper in myself, a kind of inner resource that I could return to again. I will definitely going back for more!'
